June 14th the Panorama School Board held their regular meeting.

Superintendent Shawn Holloway says the Board approved the wind hail deductible buy down by agreeing to purchase extra insurance for roof damage. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio a few more things the Board approved.

“Had second readings of the 300, 400 (board policy) series. Those were passed as presented. Purchased a carpet extractor shampooer for the secondary building. Pay proposals for substitutes for next school year were approved. Substitute teacher rate will be $140 a day, that was $130 this year.”

Holloway adds that the Board also approved an engineering agreement for the north parking lot project, along with paying fiscal year 2023 invoices after the meeting, and a contract with the new Superintendent, Kasey Huebner.
