A reminder that today is the final day for a fundraising effort for a worthy cause in Greene County.

The 8th Annual Cram the Cab Food Drive with the Greene County Farm Bureau, Jefferson Fareway and Reuter’s Red Power, ends today. The week-long fundraiser encourages Fareway customers to round up their grocery bill to the nearest dollar or purchase $20 pre-packaged bags of food and other items to be donated to the local food pantry, the Greene County Action Resource Center (ARC). 

The goal is to fill the cab of the Reuter’s Red Power tractor that has been sitting in the Fareway parking lot all week. Greene County Farm Bureau invites everyone to help support the food pantry as they have seen the need increase over the past year.
