adm-7

It was a sure a nice night for some high school baseball in Adel last night where the ADM Tigers got the 2-1 over the Winterset Huskies in a Raccoon River Conference regular season matchup last night. The ADM Tigers only had four hits in the game all were hit by the top three guys in the batting order. Junior Rhylan Stine-Smith had one of the four hits with a single, junior Grant Rychnovsky had two of the four hits on the night with a single and double also drove in one run, senior Sam Holloway got one hit with a single. Senior Nate Fisher was the starting pitcher for the ADM Tigers last night but was a little inconsistent in the first three innings of the game trying to find the strike zone. Nate Fisher only allowed one unearned run, walked five batters while striking out two Winterset Huskie batters. Then sophomore Jaxson Book came into the game in relief for Nate Fisher in the top of the fourth inning and did a great job of keeping the Winterset batters off balanced when he came while his defense stepped up behind him. Sophomore pitched the rest of the game only giving up two hits while striking out three Winterset Huskie batters and also helped secure the 2-1 win for the ADM Tigers last night.

This win for the ADM varsity baseball team will put them at a 12-4 overall record and currently 3-1 record in the Raccoon River Conference on the season.
