The Perry Police Department will have their Unclaimed Bicycle and Property Sale this Saturday to get rid of their inventory.
Police Chief Eric Vaughn says that this sale will be from 8 to 10am at the Perry Police Department’s garage, located on 908 Willis Avenue. He says their storage space is filled with bikes and unused property they have collected throughout the years and this is a nice way to get rid of it at a fair price to the residents of Perry.
“There’s about 40 bicycles, all varying degrees of condition, I guess. And we’ll just be selling those as is. There’s some, some that are pretty rough and there’s some actually some pretty good bikes in there. And then we also have some just some found property that we dispose of at that time too.”
Everyone that purchases a bike will be encouraged to register their bikes with the City of Perry at no cost.
Please call the Police Department at 515-465-4636 if you have any questions.
