The Dallas County Conservation Board is asking for volunteers for their water quality monitoring program coming up.

Outreach Coordinator Sarah Gilchrist says they are having events to get people interested from 11am to noon or 1 to 2pm today at the Forest Park Museum in Perry. Gilchrist says that they are starting a volunteer-based water quality monitoring program that helps the conservation board get data and information for the water quality in central Iowa. She notes showing up at this program does not commit you in any way.

Gilchrist requests  that people willing to show up for the informational program to register by contacting the host of the programs and the email is here. Zach.Moss@DallasCountyIowa.gov
