The Perry Public Library is  kicking-off their summer reading program activities with “KidsFest,” today.

The event is  from 10:30am until 1:30pm  at the library. There are tons of age-appropriate activities for children including a foam blaster, science-based discovery stations, balloon twister, dunk tank, interactive cone games, a petting zoo and more.

The Perry Volunteer Fire Department will be on hand cooking pork loin sandwiches and hot dogs for the price of $1 with all proceeds going to the purchase of new pagers. This event is free and no registration is required.  Plus, Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will also be on scene.
