Wednesday night the Wildcats played host to the Southwest Valley Timberwolves, and both teams picked up a win. The softball team got out to an early lead, outsourcing the Timberwolves 3-1 in the first inning, then collected a run in the third, 3 runs in the fourth, and two runs in the fifth. Southwest Valley picked up two more runs in the sixth, but the Wildcats came away with the 9-3 victory. The baseball team only had a three inning game, as they kept the Timberwolves scoreless, while picking up 2 runs in the first inning, and then ran away with the game by racking up 13 runs in the bottom of the third to seal the 15-0 win. The baseball team is now 5-1 on the season, while the softball team is 4-5.
