Tuesday, May 30th

1:26pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on U Avenue near 280th Street.

2:43pm: Alicia Hawkins 32 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

4:21pm: The Sheriff assisted with traffic control for a combine that was broke down on 220th Street near T Avenue.

10:34pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a possible stolen vehicle in the 800 block of South Chestnut Street.

Wednesday, May 31st

2:07am: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of U Avenue.

7:18am: A deputy investigated a parking complaint in the 200 block of Park Drive, Scranton.

1:35pm: Edward Goff 21 of Ankeny was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

4:25pm: Deputies investigated a complaint of an illegal burial at the Highland Township Cemetery. An urn with cremated remains was found buried with flags that said grandma and grandpa.

7:42pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of an intoxicated male that assaulted a dog in the 1000 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton. Christopher Lehrkamp 36 of Scranton was arrested for public intoxication and animal abuse.

8:16pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on Main Street, Grand Junction.

8:18pm: Christopher Lehrkamp 36 of Scranton was booked into the jail for public intoxication and animal abuse.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
