This year’s Tower of Fame recipient has been announced.

Tower of Fame Chair Carole Custer says Julie Fie is the 2023 honoree. The 1977 Jefferson High School graduate worked for 41 years in the media and communications in the National Basketball Association. Her career started in 1981 with the Kansas City Kings, working in their public relations department before moving to Sacramento, California in 1985. Fie then was hired by the Phoenix Suns in 1992, where she has been ever since.

Fie will be formally recognized at the Bell Tower Festival Opening Ceremonies on Friday, June 9th. Raccoon Valley Radio will have more on Fie’s career in tomorrow’s newscast.
