PCM shocked unbeaten Perry 12-2 Wednesday night in Heart of Iowa action at the Perry Athletic Complex.  The Mustangs took advantage of an uncharacteristic sloppy Perry squad, scoring 10 runs in the first couple of innings.  The Jayettes committed four errors during the 10-0 run.  PCM sent nine batters to the plate in each of the first two innings.

Taylor Atwell provided the bright spot for Perry, smacking a two-run homerun over the centerfield wall.  Perry batters struck out ten times on the night.

Maci Tunink took her first loss of the season, tossing five innings and allowing 12 hits and 7 earned runs while striking out two.

PCM improves to 3-1 in HOI play and 4-3 overall, while Perry falls to 3-1 in HOI action.  The Jayettes travel to Greene County Friday night.  You can listen to the game on KRGA, 98.9 FM.
