The Dallas County Conservation Board extends an invitation to anyone with a photography hobby to join them for an instructional session.

Conservation Outreach Coordinator Sarah Gilchrist says that their “First-Time Fauna and Flora Photography,” program will be from 7 to 8:30pm on Thursday at the Kuehn Conservation Area in Earlham. She explains that they have invited nature photographer and master conservationist Tom Moss to give a presentation and discuss capturing nature.

“(Moss) is going to show you how you can work your camera, how you set the settings and all of that kind of thing, and you know where to go, what time of day and that kind of thing. And we’re going to actually go out and hike around and look for ways to apply what you just learned. So it’s a great opportunity. If you’ve ever thought, gosh, I’d really I’d really like to learn more about my camera and I’d like to go out there and take pictures when I go hiking. This is a great opportunity to be able to do that for free.”

Registration is required for this program which can be done by clicking on this link here.
