Three vehicles were involved in a collision on I80 near the 114 mile marker.  Traffic was slowing due to a lane closure when Justin Guttormson, Saint Cloud, MN, was distracted and ran into Spencer Katzenell, Cranberry Twp, PA, who then ran into David Cox, Wellington, CO.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $1500 for Mr. Cox’s vehicle, $5000 for Mr. Katzenell’s vehicle and $3000 for Mr. Guttormson’s vehicle.  All vehicles were able to drive away from the scene.  Mr. Guttormson was issued a citation for Failure To Stop In Assured Clear Distance.

Lakeysha Jordan, Des Moines, was driving on R Ave near 324th Place, when a vehicle driven by Jason Neil, Grimes, crossed the center line and collided with Ms. Jordan’s vehicle.  No injuries were reported and damage to Ms. Jordan’s vehicle was estimated at $4000.  Damage to Ms. Neil’s vehicle was estimated at $4000.  Mr. Neil was cited for Driving On Wrong Side Of Two Way Highway and Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability – Accident.
