The Perry Bluejay soccer team will take on the seeded Knights of Davenport Assumption next Tuesday in the opening round of the 2023 2A State soccer championships in Des Moines.  Perry (11-7) drew the eighth seed and will have the task of trying to knock off top ranked and top seeded Davenport Assumption.  The Knights are unbeaten this year and defeated Burlington Notre Dame 5-0 Wednesday in the substate final.
