Last night the Chargers Baseball team was in action as they traveled to Coon Rapids to face off against the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders. The Crusaders scored first, grabbing 5 runs in the first two innings, and keeping the lead throughout the rest of the game. The Chargers were able to score a run in the top of the fifth, but CR-B put 2 runs on the board in the bottom of the same inning, and added another 2 runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Chargers were able to grab 2 more runs in the top of the seventh, and the game ended in a 3-9 loss.

The baseball team is back in action tonight, as they host the Des Moines Christian Lions.
