The White Pole Road Development Corporation recently announced the date for their annual Marathon Sale.

The Marathon Sale will take place on June 3rd, and is a rain or shine event. It’s open to all residents and businesses in proximity to the White Pole Road Scenic Byway to purchase and sell miscellaneous wares.The Corporation encourages a one day event, but makes note that some communities start sales on the day before as well.

Residents in businesses can make some money by selling everything from larger items like boats and campers, to smaller things like home-grown or home made items, and it’s a great way for businesses to clear out old inventory. Another way to make some money would be to rent space or signage to other vendors who may want to sell inventory in a high-profile location.
