Robert Kellner, Tomahawk, WI, was driving on I80 and pulled off on the ramp at the 104 mile marker.  When he pulled onto the shoulder of the ramp, the ground gave way due to moisture and the semi tipped over onto the passenger side.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $50000.  The semi will be towed from the scene.

Lisandro Castro, age 49, 2206 Willis Ave, Perry, was arrested for Driving While License Denied Or Revoked.

May 20

Joseph Winchell, age 30, 2529 120th St, Van Meter, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Stuart Cretsinger, Ankeny was sitting at a stop sign at E. 1st Ave and Beaver Avenue in Bouton when a vehicle driven by Karen Wright, Minburn, backed into Mr. Cretsinger’s vehicle from a parking space.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Cretsinger’s vehicle was estimated at $4000.  Damage to Ms. Wright’s vehicle was estimated at $2000.

May 21

Wyatt Clemetson, age 19, 612 State Street, Dexter, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.  He was also cited for Possession Alcohol By Person Under 21, Parks and Public Lands Littering and Person Under 21 Using Tobacco/Vapor Products.

Connor Buell, Hooper, NE, was traveling on I80 near the 105 mile marker, when the livestock trailer he was pulling began to fishtail and came unhitched.  The trailer came to rest against the cable barriers.  No injuries were reported and damage to the truck and trailer was estimated at $15000.
