Summer Sports are getting underway for the Chargers. Last Friday the baseball team hosted the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats, and started off a little slow, before they picked things up and came back for a 12-11 victory. The baseball and softball teams have a busy week ahead, as they play multiple games. Tuesday the baseball team only has a varsity game against Madrid, while the softball team plays JV and varsity games, and Wednesday the baseball team heads to Coon Rapids for some double header action. Thursday both teams host doubleheaders against Des Moines Christian, and Saturday the softball team hosts a round-robin tournament against Red Oak and Riverside.
