The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The Council will consider for approval a liquor license for Sparky’s One Stop, fencing permits for the 600 block of State Street, 700 block of Main Street and 500 block of N 5th Street, and building permits for the 100 block of Prairie Street and the 700 block of Brown Street. They will then hear from State Street Insurance Owner Becky Benton on the city’s worker’s compensation renewal, and consider for approval the annual contribution for the Guthrie Center Development Group.

The Council will then hear an update from the compliance officer, then hear the City Hall report, including department updates and discussion on a pool pass for the Guthrie Center Hospital Foundation Health Fair.

The meeting will begin at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers in City Hall. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting tomorrow.
