The West Central Valley School Board met in regular session Wednesday night.

The Board approved the hire of Kelly Hammond as school nurse, Isaac Taylor as high school physical education teacher and assistant sports coach, Linda Keech as an elementary school teacher, Courtney Sargent as an elementary special education teacher and Carl Hornbeck-Kaiser as high school math teacher. They also approved four resignations and a retirement.

The Board then approved the extra duties list excluding spring and summer positions, and the boys basketball coach. Board members also approved a milk bid by Anderson Erikson, a quote from Apple on cost to get the middle school computer lab ready, a quote by Authentic Intellectual Work Institute for professional development consultation, a quote by Louie’s Floor Covering to finish replacing carpet at the Dexter Elementary building, a quote to fix one of the GeoThermal Pumps, a retention stipend and an adjustment for para’s.
