The ADM varsity girls golf team traveled to Carroll on Wednesday May 17th for the Class 3A Region 2 Golf. There was 10 total teams at this varsity golf meet. ADM girls only had one girl finish in the top 10, as the others placed in top thirty golfers on the day. It was just not was a great day on the course for the ADM girls as they tried their best. Junior Cecelia Gardiner was tied for tenth place with a score of 94. Sophomore Riley Keller got a 21st place finish with a score 99 and right behind her teammate Sophomore Annelise Kreifels who finished with a 22nd place finish with a score of 101. Senior Kendal Book and her teammate senior Tess Kenny were tied with a 29th place finish both with a score of 105 on the day.

ADM girls did get a 4th place finish on the day with team score of 394 while the Gilbert Tigers got a first place finish with a low score of 321 and the Nevada Cubs got a second place finish with a team score of 350. That means Gilbert and Nevada will be moving on to the State 3A Golf Tournament in Cedar Falls on Thursday May 26th and Friday May 27th. That means with ADM varsity girls will did end their season with not finishing in the top two places to move onto the State Golf Tournament. They sure had great season this spring and they will we losing these three following seniors, Kendal Book, Tess Kenny & Natalie Mack. All three of those girls will be missed but the ADM girls will move on and most of the underclassman will be coming up here in near distant future.
