Perry defeated Des Moines Hoover 3-1 over the weekend but fell to Des Moines North last night by a final score of 2-1.  The Jayettes scored a pair of second half goals Saturday to get by the Huskies.  Alexa Garcia was part of all three goals scoring two and adding a helper on the Amy Diaz goal in the first half.  Miley Sanchez added an assist as well.   It was a quiet night for goalkeeper Karina Perez, who faced only seven shots and finished with six saves.

Perry couldn’t muster the second half magic last night, falling to North 2-1.

The Jayettes close out the regular season with a mark of 5-10 and will travel to Carroll this Friday night for a Class 2A quarterfinal matchup in Region 2.
