The Casey Public Library still has some fun events left this month.

Today, the library will be having a “Make a Tornado” class from 4-5pm, and on Friday they’ll hold Free Book Friday from noon to 6pm. The items available are books that have been donated to the library, and are good titles that are in great shape, but are already in the library’s collection, or may be a single use item. The library decided to share these with fellow readers.

Then on May 22nd, the library will have Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Coordinator Bob Kempf in to talk about storms, and how weather may behave leading up to storms. He’ll also have information available on being a storm spotter, and has set aside time for a questions and answers session. The class will be at 7pm, and is free and open to the public. Then to finish off events for the month, there will be a class on making bouncy balls starting at 4pm on May 24th. All events are free to the public. Casey Public Library will also be closed May 27th and 29th.
