The Perry Chamber Of Commerce gave a warm welcome to a new business on Friday.
They held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Twisted Sunset Sisters Fiber Mill which is owned and operated by Savannah Scheufler and Ellen Hatshack to provide custom fiber processing. Scheufler describes their business as a mini mill that focuses on helping small farms turn their fiber from their sheep and alpacas into a marketable product. Scheufler says that they have received nothing but support from the Perry community.
“It’s just been really great to become a part of such a welcoming community both within the fiber community and just in the community in general. Everyone has just been so kind and really wanting us to succeed and wanting Perry to succeed.”
After the ribbon cutting ceremony there was a tour of the facility. The official Perry Chamber Ribbon Cuttings are for newly joined members, reopening or for an opening, expansion, along with name or ownership changes of Chamber member businesses or organizations.
