The United States Drought Monitor recently reported on the current drought conditions in Iowa.

For the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area, the northern half of Dallas County and all but the southeastern corner of Guthrie County along with the southeastern half of Greene County are all experiencing abnormally dry conditions. The northwestern half of Greene County and northwestern most corner of Guthrie County are seeing a moderate drought, and the southern half of Dallas County and southeastern corner of Guthrie County are seeing no drought conditions at this time.
