The Perry Chamber of Commerce held their first ribbon cutting ceremony in the new year on Friday.

Scooters Coffee in Perry opened up for business in late January, but the chamber wanted to officially welcome them to the community when the weather got warmer and the ceremony could be held outside. They are a drive-thru franchise with over 500 locations in 27 states across the nation that serves specialty coffee and baked-from-scratch pastries. Perry Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lynsi Passuti cut the ribbon with all three of the owners which are Troy and Kay Baurer along with Stan Eilers.

The official Perry Chamber Ribbon Cuttings are for newly joined members, reopenings or for an opening, expansion, along with name or ownership changes of Chamber member businesses or organizations.
