A reminder that a popular sale that brings gardeners together is coming back today.

The Dallas County Master Gardeners is hosting a plant sale from  9 am-2 pm at the Dallas County Extension and Outreach community building on the Dallas County Fairgrounds in Adel. Master Gardener Megan Will says there will be a wide variety of produce available for people to purchase including perennials, annuals, vegetables, house plants, succulents, horticulture books and plant containers among other items for sale. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that anyone interested in coming should consider showing up early.

“Last year there was a line forming at 8:30am and it was sprinkling last year so come early but be prepared to stand in line. We do have a 4H group who will be selling coffee and donuts outside.”

All proceeds benefit the Master Gardeners’ Demonstration Garden on the fairgrounds.
