Dallas County Conservation is getting the community together to paddle down a local river.

The event, “Spring Green-up River Paddle,” will explore the North Raccoon River water trail to see the beauty and wonder it offers during the springtime. A Dallas County Conservation naturalist will lead the event and make several stops on the route to discuss what they are seeing. Attendees will have to provide their own boats, paddles and life jackets or rent the equipment from the Raccoon River Retreats near the Redfield Dam.

The spring river paddle is free and will take place at 11am on Saturday and registration is required by clicking here.
