The Dallas Center-Grimes girls track and field team made the short trip to Adel for the ADM Invitational Tuesday.

The Mustangs finished in 3rd place with a team score of 152. Stand out performances included the distance medley team with Olivia Curtis, Anna Bahsen, Maddy Stevens and Emerson McDermott finished in first place with a time of 4 minutes 30 seconds, 800 sprint medley team found some success with Ashly Menough, Abby Osborn, Olivia Curtis and Meredith McDermott placed first with a time of 1 minute and 54 seconds, Maddy Stevens grabbed first in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 1o minutes and 50 seconds and finally  Addison Dooley took first in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 5 minutes and 8 seconds. Now the Mustangs will take on the Drake Relays that start today and run through Saturday in Des Moines.
