Thursday, April 20th

12:10am: Darrell Pettit advised he had struck a deer near Deer Run and Westwood and the deer was still alive. The animal had died before the officer arrived.

2:10pm: Mark Cranston reported a Stray Dog in his yard at 600 South Cedar Street. The owner arrived and took the dog. The officer issued a Verbal Warning for, “Animal at Large.”

4:35pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of North Elm Street.

10:55pm: An officer located an Open Door at 509 East Gallop Road.

Friday, April 21st

11:28am: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.

1:12pm: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.

2:00pm: Levi Leibli reported potential problems with a subject from another county.

2:34pm: John McCormick reported someone struck his unattended vehicle at 1901 North Grimmell Road. The 2005 Chevrolet 1500 received $500.00 in damages. The officer is investigating.

4:40pm: Joan St Clair reported a missing wallet from her vehicle, which was parked in the 100 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. She later called back and advised she had located the wallet at home.

5:46pm: Stephany Bickle reported her juvenile daughter would not come home. The officer contacted the friends the subject was with, and she returned home to her mother.

7:27pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 100 Block of Riverside Drive for, “Parked Facing Wrong Direction.”

7:34pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 100 Block of West State Street for, “Parked Facing Wrong Direction.”

11:28pm: Dispatch advised of a Fall Alert on a smart watch in the 700 Block of West State Street. The subject called and advised all was fine.

Saturday, April 22nd

1:32am: An officer removed debris from the roadway near Grimmell and 220 th Street.

2:29pm: PAWS advised an officer that a subject from Boone was coming to Jefferson to attempt to get a dog back, that had been surrendered back to Paws. The subject never arrived at the facility.

11:32pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 600 Block of West Park Street for, “Parked Facing Wrong Direction.”

Sunday, April 23rd

1:23am: Shania Coffin reported a Stray Dog in the 500 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. The officer located the animal, but could not capture it. The animal returned home and the officer secured the animal in the fenced yard. The officer issued Bryant Margetta a citation for, “Animal At Large – Prohibited.”

2:05am: A Traffic Stop near Elm and 220th Streets resulted in Jakob Wolterman of Paton being cited for, “Violation of Minor’s School Permit.”

3:08am: An officer located an Open Door at 600 East Lincoln Way Street. The building was secured by the officer.

1:39pm: A caller advised of a young female, who was crying, at the park in the 500 Block of North Locust Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who was fine. Her mother arrived to pick her up.

3:29pm: Richard Burkhardt reported a missing dog. He advised an older male took the animal a couple of weeks ago. The officer checked the Animal Holding facility, but did not locate the animal. The officer is investigating the report.

6:24pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Erik Osbourne of NE. being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

7:23pm: A Traffic Stop in the 900 Block of South Elm Street resulted in Timothy Pedersen of Coon Rapids being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”

11:44pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 100 Block of North Maple Street for, “Parked Facing Wrong Direction.”

11:46pm: An officer located subjects in Daubendiek Park. He advised the subjects the parked was closed and they left the area.
