A Dallas Center resident will be recognised for his time for community service.

The Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame is the most prestigious state-level honor volunteers can receive as recognition of their volunteer service to their community. The 2023 Iowa Volunteer inductees include Robert “Bob” King from Dallas Center along with four others. 

King will be inducted into the hall of fame with a ceremony led by Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg at the Iowa State Capitol building on Thursday at 2:30pm.
