A new event is happening later this week with the Tower View Team in Jefferson.

An Artist’s Round Table (ART) will take place at Art on the Fly in downtown Jefferson Thursday from 7-8pm. Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Executive Director Matt Wetrich explains the premise of this informal gathering event.

“Basically if you are a creative person looking to meet other creative people or want to just do art, or talk about art, looking for some inspiration, or just want to meet up with other like-minded souls that really appreciate art, there’s no need to just keep it at your house and not let the world see it, or if you just want to talk about art like I said, it’s going to be a fun opportunity.”     

Wetrich adds this is one way for artists of all talent and skill levels, or even individuals who are aspiring artists can come together to exchange and hear ideas. The Artist’s Round Table is free and open to the public.
