The ADM girls varsity and jv teams were at the Dallas Center-Grimes meet on Tuesday April 18th. It was a mix of varsity and jv girls kind of a meet. Here is how the ADM Girls faired in the running events. Freshman Lauryn Troster placed 8th and Sophomore Kennedy Metzger placed 9th in the 100 meter dash. Freshman Josie Steinkamp placed 6th and Freshman Natalie Brose tied for 10th in the 200 meter dash. Freshman Teagan Plathe placed 5th and freshman Josie Steinkamp placed 8th in the 400 meter dash. Junior Madison Siefkin placed 6th while teammates freshman Alaina Nelson placed 9th and freshman Noelle James placed 10th in the 800 meter run. Junior Paige Mattes placed 8th in the 1,500 meter run. Freshman Rhyan Miller placed 7th and sophomore Evelyn Horgen placed 8th in the 3,000 meter run. Senior Brianna Young placed 6th while teammates freshman Haley Nelson placed 8th and sophomore Madi James placed 9th in the 100 meter hurdles. Sophomore Madi James placed 1st and freshman Haley Nelson placed 3rd in 400 meter hurdles.

ADM girls did very well in the fielding events on the day. Sophomore London Warmuth placed 1st in the high jump. Junior MaKayla Crannell placed 1st while teammates sophomore Aniston Tollari placed 2nd and freshman Lauryn Troster placed 10th in the long jump. Sophomore Kennedy Stanford placed 3rd while teammates Senior Nicole Storck placed 5th and freshman Lauren Hagedorn placed 6th in the shot put. Senior Addison Banse placed 4th while teammates freshman Lauren Hagedorn placed 7th and senior Nicole Storck placed 8th in the discus throw.

ADM girls finished in 4th place as a team with 40 points while the winner of the event was Dallas Center-Grimes with 96 points. The next ADM girls varsity track meet will be Tuesday April 25th in Adel for a invitational. That meet will start at 4:30 PM.
