Tomorrow the Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office will have a child care provider training course.

The course will go over how gardening and playing in the dirt can be good for children. Gardening can help promote a healthy lifestyle, early learning experiences, social development and environmental stewardship. The course will engage the child care providers in experiential-learning through crafts, literacy and taste testing, with a chance for various door prizes. The course will be from 6:30-8:30pm at the meeting room in Greenfield City Hall. Those that take the course can receive two hour credits for childcare license renewal.
