Visitation for Joe Shields, 80, of Adel,  visitation will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Adel,
IA. A funeral service to celebrate Joe’s life will be held at 3:00PM Friday, April 21, 2023, at the New Hope
Church, East of Adel. A Private family committal service will be held on Saturday at the Bedford
Cemetery.

Joe is survived by his children; Darrell, Debbie, Joe and Travis; sister Julia McGeary, several grand
children and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his close, personal friend Cheryl Hutzell and his
Buddy the dog.
