Monday night both the Wildcats soccer teams traveled to Des Moines and faced off against the Grand View Christian Thunder. The girls team got things started off on the right foot, taking the Thunder down 5-2. Bethany Speichinger booted in two goals, one at the 9 minute mark and the other in the 12 minute mark, and the Thunder scored all three of their goals before West Central Valley scored again. Isabella Munoz scored a pair of her own at the 66 and 72 minute marks, before Kamryn Nourse finished things off with a score in the 78th minute of the game.

For the boys team the Wildcats took home a 9-0 junior varsity win after a 4-0 varsity victory. Austin Kunkle scored first, with his goal falling somewhere in the first 2 minutes, Braylen Taylor scored at the 7 minute mark, Grand View Christian scored a goal against themselves at the 67 minute mark, and Adrian Wahlert made the final goal in minute 80.
