Even though it was a battle between two Tiger varsity girls soccer teams between ADM and Gilbert on Tuesday April 11th in Adel. Both teams were held scoreless after the 1st half of the match. The Gilbert Tigers scored their two goals in the second half of the match and won the match 2-1. ADM Tiger lone goal on the night was scored by Sophomore Jada Grove on a penalty kick when she was fouled in the penalty area, Grove now has seven goals on the season for the ADM Tigers. Senior goalie Dani Peterson had nine saves on the night. Both ADM and Gilbert had twelve shots on goal a piece on the night.

This loss for the ADM Tigers was their second loss in conference on the season. They are currently 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the Raccoon River Conference on the season. The next ADM girls varsity soccer matchup will be Thursday April 13th in Grimes, to take on Dallas Center-Grimes in a non-conference matchup. The match gets underway at 7:30 PM.
