The 10 Squared Women of Guthrie County recently announced the recipient of their first quarterly check of 2023.

Organizations that were presented to the group at their meeting on February 28th were Children’s Clothes Closet, the Guthrie County K9 Fund and the Bayard Church of Christ’s Children’s Summer Food Program. After hearing presentations made by members of 10 Squared Women, the Children’s Summer Food Program was awarded the first check of 2023, a lump sum of $11,200.

Bayard Church of Christ Pastor Bob Rogers says the program helps provide meals to children in Bayard and the surrounding communities during the summer months. !0 Squared Women focuses on donating funds to local organizations that use those funds to help residents of Guthrie County. The next meeting that the 10 Squared Women will hold is set for May 23rd.
