The Panorama Panthers boys golf team competed in a WCAC meet on Monday. They were up against Des Moines Christian, Interstate 35, and West Central Valley.

The boys team overall finished second in the meet. It was a very competitive meet through out as Panorama was only two strokes out of first place. Des Moines Christian would win the meet with the score of 167.

The highest place for the Panthers came from freshman Parker Cary, he finished the day with a score of 41 on a nine hole low. The score would give him a third place finish. Two other Panthers finished in the top five. Freshman Brayden Galvan and junior Maddox Hammerstrom tied for fourth with the score of 42.

Panorama will be back in action on Thursday. They’ll head to Jester Park for the Des Moines Christian Invitational. Tee time is set for 9am.
