The ADM Boys Varsity track team traveled to Iowa City for a varsity track invitational on Saturday April 8th. This was the second track  meet that the boys were in within last week. They were coming off a a great perf0rmance from Thursdays Van Meter meet. The team sure did a real good job in the running events. Here are those results: Junior Brevin Doll placed 2nd, Junior Aiden Flora placed 4th, Junior Tyler Gelhaar placed 6th and Freshman Jamaul Richardson-Williams placed 8th in 100 meter dash. Junior Aiden Flora placed 2nd and Freshman Jamaul Richardson-Williams placed 5th in the 200 meter dash. Sophomore Brayden Rynearson placed 3rd and Sophomore Cameron Forgy placed 6th in the 400 meter dash. Sophomore Torin Timmerman placed 4th, Senior Harrison Desmarais placed 8th and Sophomore Isaac Chapman placed 10th in the 800 meter run. Sophomore Torin Timmerman placed 3rd and Sophomore Shay Holdmeyer placed 10th in the 1,600 meter run. Sophomore Isaac Chapman placed 3rd, Junior Hunter Landphair placed 4th, Sophomore Keegan Holdmeyer placed 7th, Freshman Griffin Messer placed 9th and Freshman Grayson Sutter placed 10th in the 3,200 meter run. Junior Cameron Nish placed 4th, Junior Luke Kranz placed 5th and Jacob Kitzinger placed 6th in the 110 meter hurdles. Junior Zach Lohmann placed 1st, Junior Carter Padget placed 6th, Sophomore Joseph Kitzinger placed 8th and Keaton Kier placed 10th in the 400 meter hurdles.

Here is how the ADM varsity boys did in the relay events. They did have several top 10 finishes on the day. The team of Aiden Flora, Brevin Doll, Cade Morse, Tyler Gelhaar placed 2nd and the team of Talon Guile, Reed Obstarcyck, Grant Engleman, Joacob Kitzinger placed 4th in the 4×100 meter relay. The team of Aiden Flora, Brevin Doll, Cade Morse and Tyler Gelhaar placed 4th and the team of Brock Wine, Leyton Gerleman, Will LaFluer and Jordan Thompson placed 7th in the 4×200 meter relay. The team of Brayden Rynearson, Cade Morse, Chase Grove and Zach Lohmann placed 3rd and the team of Kaeden Campbell, Ty Landphair, Keagan Holdmeyer and Ryan Baase placed 10th in the 4×400 meter relay. The team of Torin Timmerman, Harrison Desmarais, Shay Holdmeyer, and Brayden Rynearson 2nd place and the team of Rylan Baase, Camden Post, Henry Krug and Sam Peters placed 9th in he 4×800 meter relay. The team of Talan Guile, Carter Padget, Grant Engleman and Cameron Forgy placed 3rd in the 800 sprint medley. The team of Talan Guile, Carter Padget, Grant Engleman and Hudson Schull placed 4th in the distance medley.  The team of Zach Lohmann, Luke Kranz, Jacob Kitzinger and Kaleb Oberhoffer placed 2nd in the 4×100 meter shuttle hurldes.

The ADM Boys also did very again in the field events with several top 10 finishes on the day. Here are those results: Sophomore Will Grasty placed 2nd, Sophomore Kyler Chapman placed 4th and Junior Evan Roundcount placed 7th in the high jump. Junior Tyler Gelhaar placed 1st and Sophomore Joseph Kitzinger placed 3rd in the long jump. Junior Drew Hickey placed 1st, Senior Vince Benetti placed 3rd and Senior Ben Gaard placed 7th in the Shot put. Senior Vince Benetti placed 3rd, Junior Drew Hickey placed 4th and Freshman Devin Gelhaar placed 10th in the discus throw. All in all it was another successful track met to the ADM Boys.

The next ADM Boys varsity track meet will be Tuesday April 11th in Pella at 4:45 PM.
