The Raccoon Valley Radio area continues to be under a drought.

According to the US Drought Monitor, the northwestern half of Greene County is in a moderate drought, while the rest of the county is abnormally dry. All of Guthrie County and all but the southernmost portion of Dallas County is also abnormally dry.

The National Weather Service reports only a trace amount of precipitation for Guthrie and Dallas counties and there was no accumulation of precipitation for Greene County this past week.
