
Tomorrow is the last day to register for the Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Grant Writing 201 class.
The class will take place from 4-8pm on April 5th and is geared towards individuals who have prior experience with grant writing or management, or who have participated in the Extension’s Grant Writing 101 class. Individuals attending the class are encouraged to come with an active project in mind and a workbook to draft grant proposals will be provided. If there are grants that an individual would like to pursue, they can also bring that information with them as well. Topics that the speaker will go over include documenting needs with evidence, logic models, evaluation, budgets and much more.
Those that have grant experience but didn’t take Grant Writing 101 can contact Community Development Specialist Lindsay Henderson at the email below prior to registering for the event to describe prior grant writing experience. The Extension Office requests that interested individuals register by tomorrow. To register, visit the link below.
