Perry’s Downtown history will be displayed in a presentation that is coming up this weekend. 

The Perry Iowa Historical Society will meet at the Carnegie Library Museum from 1:30 to 3:30pm on Saturday to discuss the destruction and rebuilding of downtown Perry. They will examine the history of fires that occurred from the time period of 1989 to 2020 from Otley Street to Bateman Street. The presentation will be free and open to the public.
