The Jefferson City Council met Tuesday night in regular session.
The Council approved the plans and specifications, ordering bids, form of contract and set the public hearing for a 100-foot by 100-foot hangar for the Jefferson Municipal Airport to be on April 25th at 5:30pm. The estimated $1.5 million project includes insulated walls and roof, LED interior and exterior lighting, and stub out for a future bathroom. Federal and state grants have been applied for this project. The Council also approved the Market-to-Market Relay event on May 20th and to close the city street intersections with Lincoln Way from Wilson Avenue to the Raccoon River Valley Trail head from 3-11am.
