Those that use Iowa Highway 25 going north of Interstate 80 will need to watch for detour signs.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, starting at 7am on April 3rd, construction crews will begin work to replace worn out pavement on the stretch of Highway 25 north of the interstate, and will require a marked detour around the work zone that will send drivers on the interstate, or on to Guthrie County Road F-65/White Pole Road.
As with any other work zone, DOT officials advise motorists obey posted speed limits inside the work area, along with being aware that any fines are at least double what they would be normally.
