The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office is getting ready for a fun event that they’ve hosted for a few years.

The Guthrie County (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) STEM Festival will be taking place Saturday, April 1st at the Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center High School gymnasium. The event will be from 9-11am and is free to attend. Students that are in preschool through sixth grade are the focus of the event, and parents and adults that are bringing students to the event are encouraged to take a look around as well.

With around 30 booths of STEM exhibitors, there’s plenty for everyone to do and see. The list of exhibitors includes some regular partners, like the Blank Park Zoo, Iowa Corn Growers and Panorama FFA, along with some new faces, like the Iowa Motor Truck Association, New Opportunities and the Guthrie County Master Gardeners. Any questions about the event can be directed to the Guthrie County Extension by calling them at the number listed below.
