Dallas Center-Grimes Track and Field will be back in action today after a brief break in their schedule for spring break.
Both boys and girls teams will be heading to Grinnel this afternoon to the Little Hawkeye Indoor Championship in the Bear Athletic Fitness Center. Head Boys Track and Field Coach Jordan Sump says this event will not keep a team score but it’ll be a good measuring stick for the team.
“So really just hoping to go and be competitive. It’ll also be a good opportunity for for myself and our other coaches to see where the rest of the conference is at and see how they how they stack up compared to us. What are they doing, where are they better than we are, And we can hopefully practice on those things and put ourselves in a better position to have the most success when when outdoor championship season comes.”
All the Little Hawkeye opponents will participate and the competition will start at 4pm.
