The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board met on Monday.
The Board approved a response plan to address peer conflict and bullying issues. The plan has been developed to bring an improved system to address student behavior and incidents of bullying. The core of the plan involves utilizing outside experts to provide guidance.
They also approved a full-time human resources manager to deal with day-to-day HR functions, purchase of 115 rechargeable graphing calculators and charging stations for $34,000, adding a security system for $19,000 to Meadow View Elementary and the purchase of a new preschool curriculum that will be implemented at the ADM PreSchool for the next six years.
Additionally, they approved five time entry clocks for the nutritional department for the cost of $11,400, updating the loading area at the high school for $118,000 and sale of old equipment as presented .
