With snow on the ground in Iowa, its hard to believe the high school girls golf season is right around the corner.
Dallas Center-Grimes finished the 2022 season in fourth place in the Little Hawkeye Conference and had a stand out senior, Kaylin Petrak, who was a state qualifier that averaged score of 90 per 18 holes and is playing golf at Des Moines Area Community College this year. The Mustangs will be returning Laura Klaessy as a senior and she averaged a score of 93 who just missed state by finishing seventh in the regional qualifier.
The girls golf season will start on March 30th with a scrimmage at Beaver Creek Course in Grimes and then the competitions after will count on April 6th with the invitational at the Westwood Golf Course in Newton. The full schedule will be linked here.
