The Perry Chamber of Commerce has announced the round of Explosive Eight in the Big Boom Bracket Battle which has raised a lot of money so far for the Fourth of July celebration in Perry.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the Big Boom Bracket Battle has raised $2,306 in donations and now the contest narrows down to eight. Pasutti explains the process of choosing the winner.

“So people will be matched up. Whoever of those two gets the most donations in their name moves on to the next round and it will go on from there. The ultimate winner will get a pie in the face.”

Donations for the Explosive Eight will run through 10am March 21st and there are multiple ways to donate either online here or through in-person locations at Ben’s Five and Dime, McCreary Community Building or mailed to the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
