The Panorama Panthers boys soccer team finally hit the pitch this week for practice.
Before the Panthers hit the pitch for the first time this season, let’s look over their schedule for 2023. They start the season off with back to back road games. First up they take on the Harlan Cyclones on March 27th. That Cyclone squad finished last year with a 10-8 record. A few days later they’ll head to Carroll to play the Keumper Catholic Knights. A team that was 1-12 a year ago.
Panorama won’t be back home until their third game of the season. They’ll be up against rival West Central Valley. This will be the biggest test for the Panthers in the early season. The Wildcats were 16-2 last season and made it all the way to the State quarterfinals. They lost to Beckman Catholic 2-1. That matchup will be March 31st in Panora.
That’s a breakdown of the first quarter of the boys soccer season. We’ll have more breakdowns throughout the next two weeks as the Panthers await the pitch in 2023.
